2 tablespoons neutral oil (vegetable or avocado)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster-style sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Optional: chicken, shrimp, or tofu

Optional: sliced bell peppers or mushrooms

Instructions

1. Trim asparagus and prepare all ingredients before cooking.

2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high to high heat.

3. Add garlic and ginger and stir quickly for about 30 seconds.

4. Add asparagus and stir fry for 3 to 5 minutes until crisp-tender.

5. Pour in soy sauce and oyster-style sauce.

6. Toss everything quickly to coat evenly.
