Ingredients

Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
Lean ground beef, 1 pound
Chili powder, 2 teaspoons
Cumin, 2 teaspoons
Oregano, ½ teaspoon
Garlic powder, ½ teaspoon
Salt, ½ teaspoon
Black pepper, ½ teaspoon
Tomato paste, 2 tablespoons
Water, ½ cup
Corn or flour tortillas, 8
Lettuce, finely chopped
Mexican cheese blend or cheddar, shredded
Tomatoes, chopped

Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up clumps.
Stir in chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Mix in tomato paste and cook 1 minute.
Pour in water and simmer until liquid reduces slightly, 3-5 minutes.
