Delicious chicken skewers marinated in garlic and Parmesan for a flavorful dish, perfect for dinner or as an appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken tenders, thighs or breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 stick butter
  • 810 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan, grated
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (more if desired)
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep and skewer chicken: Start by cutting your chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  2. Make the Garlic Parmesan butter sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Then, stir in the Parmesan cheese, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until everything is combined.
  3. Cook the chicken: Preheat your grill or oven. If using a grill, cook the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning them occasionally until they are cooked through. In the oven, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes. Brush the garlic Parmesan sauce over the skewers during cooking for extra flavor.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for extra flavor. Soak wooden skewers in water before grilling to prevent burning.
