1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

2. Trim asparagus and pat dry.

3. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on the sheet pan.

4. Drizzle olive oil evenly over the asparagus.

5. Add sliced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

6. Toss lightly to coat.

7. Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
